FAQ's

What makes you different from other pest control companies?
We are a family owned and operated business who cares deeply about our customers.  We depend on you for our continued business and want you to be comfortable with our technicians and the services being provided.  We do not employ any high-pressure salesman, so you do not need to be concerned about being talked into purchasing unnecessary service.  WE WILL NOT SELL YOU SOMETHING YOU DON’T NEED!  We strive to develop relationships with our customers.  Being a customer makes you part of our team, and we greatly thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

How do I know I need pest control service?
If you see one ant or one mouse dropping it would be in your best interest to give us a call.  This can prevent a small problem from becoming a large problem.  That one ant or one mouse may have many friends hiding where you may never see them.  A simple inspection will allow us to evaluate your situation and prescribe a custom treatment if necessary.

Will I need to leave my home?
Depending on what type of treatment is being performed, it will not usually be necessary for you to leave your home.  Most of the chemicals we use are virtually odorless and when used properly, present very limited risk.  In some instances such as treatments for roaches, fleas, and bedbugs you may need to leave your home for 3-4 hours.  In addition, if there are any health concerns with family members or possible allergies, we may also ask you to vacate the premises for 3-4 hours.

Do your products have any odor?
All of the materials we use are highly refined, leaving most liquid applications virtually odorless.

Are your treatments harmful to children or domestic pets?
Most of the chemicals we use are approved for use around all mammals including your children and your pets.  We may recommend during application, or for a short time following application, that you remove your pets and children from treated areas long enough for the liquid chemicals to dry (20-30 minutes).  In some cases birds or fish may need to be removed from certain areas while treatments are being performed.  Safety is a priority for us as we strictly follow all label requirements and precautions for our material applications.

How much should I look to spend for your pest control services?
Our rates are very comparible with those of our competitors.  Every situation will be slightly different but we will give you a fair price for good service and as always we will not sell you something you don’t need.

Are your technicians trained and certified?
All of our technicians are registered or certified by the Maryland Department of Agriculture and continually receive training.  The state of Maryland requires accredited training sessions to be completed annually, and have been approved by the state in order to be re-certified.  Several of our technicians have achieved the level of credentialed inspectors by the Maryland State Pest Control Association to perform wood destroying insect inspections, which are required for most real estate transactions.

Will you perform a one-time treatment?
Yes.  Unlike many of our competitors we will perform a one-time treatment.  We cannot completely guarantee every treatment will work the first time, but we will do our best.  We do not carry magic wands, but we do everything we can to solve your pest issues.  We never require anyone to sign a long-term contract.  We do offer many service plans, but will not pressure anyone into signing a contract.  If it is recommended, or you choose to, we will customize a service plan to suit your needs.

What areas do you service?
We service all of Montgomery, Frederick, Carroll, Prince Georges, and Anne Arundel counties.  Please call to inquire about areas not listed, as some exceptions may be made if you live outside of these areas.

Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
